Square Enix has finally announced a release date for upcoming hack-and-slash title Dungeon Siege 3, pegging 27th May for Europe.
America, on the other hand, will have to wait an extra few days - Dungeon Siege 3 will hit US shelves on May 31st.
A sequel to the successful and pretty Dungeon Siege series, which was regrettably turned into a film by Uwe Boll, Dungeon Siege 3 is the first title in the franchise not to be developed by Gas Powered Games. Instead,
Fallout: New Vegas developers Obsidian Entertainment are taking over.
The publisher has changed too, with Square Enix picking the series up off Microsoft.
Details of the story and feature set are still sketchy at the moment, but it's confirmed to be set in the same kingdom as the first two games and to feature a multiplayer campaign.
