Cooler Master has announced the impending launch of the MasterMouse Pro L, which it claims was 'made with customisation in mind.'
Many of the features of the MasterMouse Pro L will be familiar to anyone who has been in the market for a gaming mouse over the last few years. Three RGB LEDs providing full 16.7 million colour illumination options across three zones, with per-profile settings to provide at-a-glance indication of the currently active profile. Each of these profiles is stored in the onboard 512KB memory, allowing for the eight programmable buttons to be customised along with resolution settings from 400 to 12,000 dots per inch (DPI), with a total of five user profiles supported at any one time.
Where Cooler Master is hoping to differentiate, however, is in just how customisable the mouse can be. The standard bundle comes with two top panels of differing lengths, along with two sets of magnetic side panels with differing textures. The company is also to release 3D printing files for the side panels, allowing their design to be customised and manufactured for a truly custom mouse - though Cooler Master has not announced any plans to offer any additional 'official' side panel designs.
Cooler Master has confirmed plans to bring the MasterMouse Pro L to market in early September, priced at £49.99 including VAT. Anyone attending Insomnia58 this weekend will be able to get their hands on the mouse earlier than this, however, by visiting the Cooler Master section of the Box.co.uk stand.
