Raijintek

Raijintek will be refreshing almost every part of its product catalogue in the coming months, so what we've covered here is just a small selection.


As part of that, you can expect new DIY water-cooling gear including water blocks for the high-end Nvidia cards, and this includes custom ones like the MSI Gaming X design. Its 12V pump is also nearing completion, so you can expect that on shelves soon. We also saw some slimline radiators with LED-backlit logos too.


Case-wise, we saw the high-end Coeus Pro, which is made from 4mm aluminium and 4mm tempered glass on the outside and has a steel interior. USB 3.1 Type-C is included on the front I/O panel, and you get three RGB fans with the case that shine neatly through the smoked glass. There's plenty of room for radiators as well.


The Apella range of PSUs (80 Plus Gold; 550W, 650W, and 750W capacities) is interesting in that it's fully modular but will be sold without cables. Instead, users will choose the colour and style of cable set they want from the reseller (Overclockers UK for us UK folks), with Raijintek saying that it plans to only charge $30 (excluding taxes) per set, which isn't bad considering the cost of competing custom-braided cable sets. Firm details are yet to be confirmed, but this could be an interesting move in the PSU market.


Raijintek was also proud of its PCI-E riser bracket and cable combo known as the Paxx. Supporting PCI-E 3.0, this set is said to be compatible with almost any tower case (space permitting), although if you don't have built-in vertical GPU mounts you may need to get creative. The cable is 200mm long and manufactured to be properly attached at both ends rather than just glued in place – tests will still need to verify its long-term effectiveness, of course.
