As usual, the exhibition area at i34/Mfestival was dominated by the huge Scan/Intel stand, which featured tons of high end PCs including Scan's ultra-ultra high end White Cobra machine, and the frankly gorgeous Impreza blue Akasa Omega we last saw at CeBit. The stand also had plenty of PCs for visitors to jump into a game of Call of Duty 4 and even a full three piece band, who proceeded to guitar battle against the Rock Bands on the EA stage opposite all weekend.

EA certainly had a lot to show here at Mfestival, with live Spore play test machines available all weekend for gamers to have a go at create life (and thankfully, not too many c*ck-monsters). It was evident from the variety of life gamers were creating that the ambitious scope of Spore seems to deliver a huge pay off - everyone we spoke to loved it!

EA also had the mandatory Rock Band setup, with a Battle of the Bands style competition running on Friday (
which Baz took part in - embarrassing YouTube videos coming soon!), as well as running demonstrations of forthcoming titles like Mirrors Edge and Red Alert 3. However, we were disappointed not to see a public beta of Battlefield: Heroes, which would have been awesome to have seen the whole LAN playing.
