The drive bays are pretty boring - plain, grey steel. I decided that they needed a facelift - with black-painted acrylic, no less. Waiting for the paint to dry was a major pain.

So while I was waiting, I decided to cut the piece of acrylic that will sit on the back of the motherboard back plate, which will later be engraved with my 'Cold Fusion' logo. This was a fairly straight forward job that went according to plan.

With the paint dried and the Dremel laid to rest, I've screwed my painted bits of acrylic into place. Looks pretty good to me.

I wanted to stealth the motherboard and graphics cards with a piece of acrylic. Now where did I get that idea?

This is the template for the acrylic designed to stealth the PCI slots after a couple of rounds with the Dremel and the heat gun, which allowed me to bend it to the correct shape.

I used some mesh material which was sprayed and attached to the PCI slots for a really nice effect at the rear of the machine.
