Modding: Mouse


A case is not complete without a keyboard and a mouse; time for a simple mousemod.



I found this mouse on a computer fair here in Belgium. It was only about 8 euros, which is about US$10 bucks. The only thing wrong with it is it has BLUE lighting - this will have to go!



Inside there are 2 blue LEDs: one to illuminate the scrollwheel and one to illuminate the housing of the mouse.



Replacing the LEDs was all to easy: in the back, I put 2 ultra-bright white LEDs to illuminate the housing of the mouse even more.



A little testrun. I\'m not going to replace the red led on the bottom, because I dont know if the mouse will still work then.



The finished product. would that make it a \"HyperMouse\"? -Ed
