Forum user Djayness is no stranger to Mod of the Month, and he's also one of bit-tech's CNC experts, pulling off some spectacular feats with his detailed knowledge of these awesome tools. His previous projects, such as Epic PC X Series, boast some serious eye candy, so when Djayness mentioned he had a new project on the go, we had a feeling it would be definite MOTM material.



His last project was one of the most promising projects of 2010. However, some issues with the water-cooling system meant it wasn't quite what the result we expected, although it still looked amazing. Djayness is back with a vengeance, though, and his latest project is on track to become one of the best water-cooled scratch-builds of 2011. The excellent CNC machining has already started, following a detailed design stage where all the various parts were measured, ready to be cut from large pieces of acrylic.



The first of these parts quickly rolled off the production line, and one of the curved corners of the case was created after some extra hands-on work.



One aspect we've always liked about Djayness' work is that, despite being made predominantly from CNC-machined parts, his projects still show plenty of character, unique looks and plenty of eye candy. He calls the feature pictured above the bar code array. We also get our first look at the case as a whole in the above image - we're loving the curved lines.



Above, we get a rear view of the bar code array, and Djayness made use of a light diffuser to spread the glow along the coloured acrylic at the front. We get an idea of what kind of water-cooling gear will find its way into the case too - we can see room for at least two triple 120mm-fan radiators.
