Fast Forward - Module 1 by thechoozen
Project Log: Here
We've seen plenty of thechoozen's work here on
bit-tech and he's without doubt one our most valued modders coming up with the likes of
Cosmos Dragon which was nominated in our recent
Mod of the Year competition.
His skill with acrylic is top notch and 2010 looks set to be graced with more transparent awesomeness in the form of his new project, Fast Forward. His nomination this month takes shape in what is apparently one section of the project entitled Module 1 which will be combined with several other sections to make up the final PC.
It sounds intriguing and from what we've seen so far, Fast Forward is going to feature just as much eye candy as any other of thechoozen's fantastic mods.
Popular sponsors Aquatuning, OCZ and Coolermaster have decided to give the project a helping hand and an OCZ memory cooler was the first thing to receive a bit of modding attention. The front fascia of the project also came in to being quite early on with an interesting design cut out - will this design reappear in other parts of the case? We'll have to wait and see!
The next step was to create a tray and housing for the motherboard which according to thechoozen will be of the mini-ITX variety and water-cooled too given the gear he's just received from Aqua-tuning. This came together pretty quickly and we don't think it will be long before we see Module 2 on the project log forum.
Above we can see the fascia attached to Module 1 and also the tiny fanless powersupply for the ITX motherboard.
In one of the most recent updates to Fast Forward we've seen Module 1 move on a bit more with a large chromed carbon plate attached to the top of the case and also ribbed acrylic fins on the top along with more on the bottom to act as case feet.
