With all the holes in the bands drilled out to 4.5mm, it was time to start cleaning up. I removed the pieces of metal sitting under the clips, covered them in tape and...
...using a washer as a guide, drew in rounded corners on the end farthest from the holes. A bit of filing soon had the corners nicely rounded.
When the protective plastic was peeled off the bands and the clip bases, I fitted everything together with M4 screws under the clamps.
A small screwdriver adjusted the tension on the clamps until they were nice and tight.
Once the bands were polished to match the rest of the case, they came up well.
Looks nice and industrial. Using the same clamps on different parts of the case helps tie everything together. I still have 4 more to fit once I get to work on other parts of the case.
