Cooler Master adorns its UCP range, including the 900W we have here, in a three layer, painted coating that looks great and is very hard wearing. It resists attacks from killer finger nails, a screwdriver and car key (it's all I had within arms reach). It certainly stands out from the crowd, and the Ultimate branding stamp is certainly suitable to the aesthetic style.
A single 120mm fan sits at one of to cool the elongated 19cm housing - this design effectively forces air from the back to front. However the smaller fan could mean it has to spin faster, and therefore louder, to accommodate the large heat generation for powerful units. Even though it's an 80 Plus Silver certified unit, at 100 percent load it still looses ~134W of energy as heat.
Cooler Master hasn't plastered it in excess warranty or advertising stickers unlike
Lian Li, or
Thermaltake, although it does have a single sticker on the back in matching black-silver listing the rated wattages and necessary certifications.

Bling lighting is limited to a single LED in the back that shows whether it's receiving power or there's a problem, although we doubt anyone will try to sleep with a PC that needs 900W of power. Unlike its Silent Pro though, Cooler Master doesn't include any form of vibration reduction or noise deadening between the PSU and the chassis casing, or the fan and the PSU casing. While not unsurprising since very few companies do this, it's a shame Cooler Master hasn't done this when you consider that it has clearly put a lot of thought into the aesthetics and internals, because it would round off the product quite nicely.
Having said that, the PSU fan does get some funky Allen key holed screws, but unfortunately this isn't matched by the four Philips heads around the edges. No doubt that was an ease of manufacturing consideration given their size.

The area where the cables emerge from the casing is reasonably tight fitting, and the cable braids go right into the PSU which looks much better.
