Due to VIA suffering a license dispute and falling market share the Intel chipset market, it has quit while it's ahead. Instead the company will focus solely on making chipsets for its own C7 CPUs.

Intel seems to have hit one additional nail in the coffin for Pentium Netburst CPUs by not officially certifying it for Bearlake.

Intel not only seems like it'll be introducing new CPUs in Q3, but it's also touted to make some crazy price cuts as well.
