Microsoft has released a polished statement claiming that it has widespread support from security providers for Vista. Notable inclusions are Symantec and McAfee - two companies that haven't stopped short of highlighting Vista's problems.
Symantec has thumbed its nose at Microsoft's latest offerings of Vista APIs. According to the security firm, PatchGuard is already broken, so just give up the kernel.
