ATI has ended the life of the Radeon X1800XT after less than six months in the company's product stack. Bargains ahoy!

Not long ago, ATI gave its partners the go-ahead on shipping overclocked versions of the recently-launched Radeon X1000-series. GECUBE looks set to intro a Radeon X1800XT 'Extreme Edition' that comes with a 700MHz core speed.

An internal presentation made by ATI's marketing department made its way on to the web earlier this week. The INQUIRER has set up a duel for the two graphics heavyweights. Will they accept the challenge?

Sapphire's implementation of the ATI Radeon X1800XT is now available at Ebuyer with a pretty good price. Grab one while you can, there's only 30 in stock.

It seems that ATI will manage to ship the X1800XT before they said they would after all. One US retailer is expecting a shipment to arrive in stock during the course of the day.

Surprisingly it is KustomPCs and Tekheads who are first out of the blocks with the first UK stock of Radeon X1800XL video cards. There are still mixed feelings about when the Radeon X1800XT will ship in the UK though.
