2K Games have announced and detailed the first piece of downloadable content for recently released sequel,
BioShock 2.
The DLC, which is titled
The Sinclair Solutions Test Pack, will be available for 400 MS Points on Xbox 360 and Games For Windows Live - which is about £3.50 GBP or $5.00 USD.
The pack will focus entirely on updating the multiplayer portion of the game, bumping the level cap in multiplayer up to 50 and introducing a bunch of new rank rewards, as well as new characters and customisation options.
The Sinclair Solutions Test Pack looks like it may give those who buy it a gameplay edge as well as some extra bling too. It'll open up a third weapon upgrade for each and every weapon in the game.
This first block of DLC won't be the last either - 2K Games has assured fans that more packs will be coming in the months ahead and that future instalments will expand on the singleplayer campaign too.
That's just as well, since when we took a look at
BioShock 2 earlier this month we were mighty disappointed with the multiplayer portion of the game, though maybe the upcoming DLC will fix that when it is released in March. But probably not.
