Paradox Interactive has announced a new game to be set in Ardania, the fictional fantasy-land popularised in the Majesty series, called Warlock: Master of the Arcane.

Warlock: Master of the Arcane will be a turn-based strategy game where players take the role of wizards battling for control of the empire.

Players will be able to command large armies, says Paradox, as well as summon creatures, cast spells and create new spell combinations at the same time as managing their city and growing their economies.

Currently scheduled for a 'Q2 2012' release, there still aren't many details available on Warlock: Master of the Arcane other than what is hinted at in the teaser trailer below.

'The great thing about Warlock is that it inherits the best elements from classic turn-based games and renovates them with a modern look and feel,' said Mattias Lilja, Producer at Paradox Interactive.

Because he couldn't pea him? I have to admin, though, that it's very strange - a bit like Steve McClaren and his fake Dutch accent...

On another note: hexagonal lakes

Seems Sean Connery has developed a Dutch lisp in his senior years :) pretty good impression all in...but detracts from the game not that they showed much of it.
