Beyond: Two Souls looks like it might be the latest Playstation 3 game to get a re-release for Sony’s newest console.
A tropyhy list for a Playstation 4 version of Quantic Dream’s latest cutscene-heavy game appeared online lending support to the rumour that a directors cut is on the horizon. The trophies can be seen on leak site
Exophase, although they are the same as the trophies found in the Playstation 3 version of the game.
The trophy list leak is the latest clue to the impending release. Earlier this year, two German retail sites, Alcom and Waorld of Games, listed a director’s cut of Beyond: Two Souls as coming to the Playstation 4 later this year. The listings were hastily removed.
Additionally, a NeoGAF user also spotted the Playstation 4 version of Beyond: Two Souls pop up in a programmer’s portfolio back in April.
Beyond: Two Souls was one of the Playstation 3’s last big titles, being released in October 2013, just one month before the release of the Playstation 4. If it does get a next generation release, it will join several other last-gen titles that are making the transition. The Last of Us saw a remastered release in July and Saints Row 4 is due to receive a next-gen port early next year.
