Corsair has announced its latest sealed-loop liquid cooler, the Hydro Series H75, which boasts a compact 120mm radiator packing two fans and claimed boosted cooling performance.
Designed as an upgrade from its existing H60, which has a 120mm radiator designed for use with a single fan, the H75 has been redesigned for dual-fan layouts. The radiator itself measures 120mm by 152mm with a svelte 25mm width, and comes pre-loaded with a pair of SP120L PWM-controlled fans boasting a 54 CFM airflow at 2,000 RPM with a 31.4dBA noise level.
The radiator is connected to a low-profile cooling block through kink-resistant rubber tubing, as usual. Inside the block is a ceramic bearing pump and a copper micro-fin cold-plate. A tool-free mounting bracket, officially listed as being suitable for Intel LGA 1156, 1155, 1150, 1366 and 2011 or AMD AM2, AM3, FM1 and FM2 sockets, connects the block to the CPU.
Xavier Lauwaert, director of product marketing at the company, has indicated that the H75 is to be sold alongside the existing H60 as an alternative for those who need additional cooling performance but who don't have room in their cases to cram a second fan onto an H60 or upgrade to a larger radiator.
As is typical for the Hydro Series family, the sealed-loop system - totally maintenance-free, Corsair claims, beyond cleaning out the fans every once in a while - comes with a five-year warranty. The cooler is due to launch in November, with UK pricing yet to be confirmed and a US manufacturer's recommended retail price of $84.99 (around £52, excluding taxes.)
