Apple's last MacWorld keynote was frankly full of disappointments and no shows - the most interesting news came from outside the keynote arena.

Recenting testing by Macworld labs in the States suggests that Steve Jobs' indications of performance increases using the latest Intel chips may have been slightly optimistic.

There are rumours that Intel Macs will launch at MacWorld in January, but Taiwanese sources are saying that they won't be available until June. Who knows? We have the speculation.
