Dell has announced an up-coming ultra-slim laptop for its Vostro range, which brings the thickness of the Adamo XPS to a more sedate form factor.

Intel CEO Paul Otellini believes that the days of the netbook may be numbered, with enough consumers wise to the limited performance to give the ultra-thin laptops a chance.
